Visitors to Grand Mouëys can stay within the château itself in ‘chambres d’hôtes’ or in an apartment. Alternatively, they can stay at the separate ‘la maison du Chai.
The château’s large windows light up the 13 principal rooms that include a library, 2 living rooms, a dining room and 9 bedrooms. The interior décor, bathrooms, heating, electricity and soft furnishings were refurbished between 1993 and 1997.
The furniture, mostly French 19th century, is typical of the style
of large residences of this century and fits comfortably with fabrics of the Designers Guild brought back from London by the château’s owners.

The surroundings of the Château, the lawns and the park are maintained in an English style which was the fashion in the area at the end of the 19th century. During your stay you will be looked-after as friends: discretion and simplicity will make your stay a unique and magic experience.
A stay of one night, of a weekend or more, will allow you to appreciate the life of the lord or lady of the manor.
